
Is there a loophole in the law of community property in Texas? I want to buy a house while separated.?
I said, because the law of community property in Texas, I am unable to buy a house without my wife on the loan and mortgage. I'm in Army and the VA loan to use. There must be some way to do this without being divorced. I need to close over the next 3 months. The divorce will be there.
You even need to ask for legal separation. The final regulation. It is a relatively common procedure in the States community property. If it does not run the quitclaim, the separation will provide a legal basis for claiming that the funds used to purchase the house are no funds from the community. However, payment is probably derived from EU funds, so you can have a battle on your hands if you do not want.
