The update VA loan limits have been updated by a distributed AV. The following graph represents the upper limit of 100% of the loan by VA county 2009. All counties not listed below will be kept below the limit of $ 417,000.

Please note that is always possible by the VA to obtain a mortgage above and beyond the current limits. However, a 25% deposit required for the difference. For example, if an eligible borrower or the purchase of a house $ 600,000 minimum required payment would be calculated as such:

1. $ 600,000 (purchase price) minus $ 417,000 (100% maximum limit of an area of normal cost) = $ 183,000

2. 25% of $ 183,000 Is $ 45,750, or only 7.6% of the purchase price

3. The VA funding fee above the $ 417,000 limit should be well paid by the borrower or veteran seller.
