Relationship help please?

We have been together for 5 years. 2 for which we lived together. At first, he wanted build a house and asked me if I wanted to build with him. I said yes. Then 4 years have passed and, finally, the house is starting. Only problem is that I have a huge problem with signing a commitment to real engagement. So I told him that if at the time the house is done and has not proposed to me yet I can not subscribe to the mortgage. I told him why and he understands perfectly. But still no proposal! I can not understand if he waits until the last minute, even if he wants to marry me, etc. and then I begin to wonder if I really want to marry me or if I feel pressure in her … but I really think I do because I can not bear the thought of my life without him. Just ask him ….. I know you're not supposed to know exactly when someone will offer you lol but if you feel confused when you ask him all these things you feel you need to know! And if he does not give you a straight answer the first After just keep asking what the hells going on until he gives you all right!
