What are my rights as a tenant, whose owner had to go into foreclosure?

We are one month in a lease six found in SPECT. Our owners informed us today that have been or are in process of foreclosure. They say we can stay here to what happens in a foreclosure or a bank, "expelled" us. They say it can take an indefinite amount of time. How long can we live here? Is our lease for something? Is this eviction counts as an actual eviction, although it is not our fault? " We live in California.

September is just around the corner, the foreclosure will not be completed before the car will not be completed. All evictions are counted, they would be expelled if they refused to leave when told to leave.
