Buying a house for $ 300 by selling government foreclosure home … Is it real?

I just saw a spot TV tax on home sales excluding government. They claim that you can buy houses in the United States for as low as $ 300 or less. Is this real? There must be a trap, anyone know? However, if there is not a decision How do I start.

.. im sure theres a catch I doubt that getting a home $ 300 … If this were the case, all these houses are sold in foreclosure ..
