I can not sell my mortgage, the mortgagee will not provide SS #?
Vacant land sold for $ 65.000 to 55.000 + 10,000 mortgage note. Decided to sell the note to pay medical bills, signed with the mortgage company, which in turn requested the mortgagee to provide information on payment history and Social Security #. Mortgagee said he would call back with info, but did not return calls or give information, Mortgage Company said agreement can not go forward w / O SS #. What's next for me? Thank you
Letter from a lawyer should do the trick.
