Best third language?
I am bilingual (almost): English Spanish, and hopes eventually to teach at least 6 languages (French, Italian, German, Portuguese and my English and Spanish). As you can see, most of them are Romance and Germanic languages, if you have Similar roots and vocabulary of English. I wonder what would be more beneficial to learn now, as a third language? I am a student college and will soon go into international affairs / World Real Estate. It would be more useful for the job and why?
If you speak English, Spanish and French have the best chance in the industry, I would say. Here are a few reasons: 1. Europeans who speak other languages than English and French are prone to speak English or French for business. This includes Italian, Portuguese and German. 2. If you ever get to meet destinations Most of them will be able to do business in one of 3 languages. 3. If you have the opportunity to do business in Africa, can do almost anything where if you speak English, French or Arabic and let's face it, North Africa, where Arabic is the most commonly spoken is the main composed of former French colonies French spoken all that day. The few exceptions to speak English or Spanish. 4. In Asia, must be able to agree very well in English than in most countries, the company is can be conducted in English. Finally, if I were asked what is 5 languages a student of international trade and real estate development must speak, say the following without hesitation: English, French, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. Since you're not interested in Asian languages, at least learn the first 3
