I do not want a real estate agent, you can research comparable properties sold. Avoid Yellow Pages! The best place to search for real estate appraisers on board its state appraiser license. They may not all recommendations, but no the most complete and updated list of appraisal in the residential area. And, you can check the status of the license evaluator at the time. Call pair advisors on the list and let them know you want a budget (aka twice daily) for an evaluation. See if there are risks in its commitment (as a retainer, etc.). They want to know the scope of the Evaluation (if applicable, a market assessment of a single family residential), property and what type of business you are looking for. If you talk with the appraiser, you can ask questions about their qualifications and experience in your type of property (single family residential) and the market. Whatever you are looking evaluator (also turnound the best time, better skills, etc) will probably be a wish to work. Good luck!
