William Keleher

William Aloysius Keleher (1886-1972) became interested in the law, respecting events in Courthouse Bernalillo country. He joined a Law School Washington and Lee University in Virginia, in September 1913. After almost two years (mid 1915) He received his Bachelor of Law and was admitted to the Bar of New Mexico after a few months.

After graduation, William Keleher pursued a career in law and practice relentlessly. Finally, it creates a law firm one day become the law firm oldest and most prestigious New Mexico. In 1929 he joined A. Howell McLeod and together they became champions of the most prominent test in New Mexico. Son of William (William B. Keleher and Thomas F. Keleher) chose to follow the same path that he practiced in the family business. His descendant, Michael, also continued the family tradition by contributing to growth of Keleher and McLeod. Today, the practice of law in Keleher & McLeod reflects the same dedication and passion, no doubt. Although the Keleher and McLeod corp. not connected the family, William B. Keleher and Thomas F. Keleher are the proud shareholders of the company. Located in Bernalillo County, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
