Are all partners in a real estate company in Virginia Realtors must be licensed?

I want to start a business Virginia estate with two other people. One of us will be a propeller realtor. Is this normal? Are there any resources out there that can help me plan this company? Thank you!

It came from his State of the Association Website: Licensing and ownership of real estate companies you can own a real estate company? The answer is simple: anyone can own a real estate company. It is not requirement that owners of a company with a real estate license. However, there are certain things you should know. Even if a person can not be licensee interest in a property company, there are limits to the types of goods available to some dealers. Company means any person, licensed or not, may be a shareholder or director of a company. Generally, brokers may not be officers (President, Vice-President, etc..) Vendors who work in an enterprise can not be official. (However, sellers who are not active in the business can be official.) Partnerships: Vendors who are active in the company should members of associations. All partners must be non-dealers or agents. (A seller who is not active in the business may however be a partner.) Enterprises LLC: Vendors who are active in society may not be members (owners) of an LLC. (However, sellers who are not actively engaged in the business may be members of an LLC.) Otherwise, all members must be non-dealers or agents. _______________________________________ To establish an office is needed to understand how to operate a local brokerage, taxes, accounting, etc. I suggest you consider some of the smaller franchises because they are generally low-cost and most are open desk.
