I am a real estate and finance major. Should the accounting (and go to the CPA) as well?
I am a researcher at a university state. Today, I am double major in Real Estate and Finance. My expected graduation is now May 2010. I am a little worried about the investigation a job after college, with prospects of Finance and real estate jobs is not so hot. I work in Real Estate Investments Worldwide (no brokerage or valuation), eventually working for a REIT or something similar. I intend to continue my studies for a year and reach an additional agreement, which is a degree in accounting and my CPA will. I heard a lot of experience in accounting is very valuable in the business world and will make you more marketable in the search of employment. What I really wonder is = Is it really beneficial and worth taking another year to get more than a degree in accounting? Or is it a waste of time, and only tries to enter the labor market in 2010 with my finances and property Grade?
If you want to be in finance or real estate really a sales job. I majored in finance with a number of minor cases. Yes I use my degree in finance all the time, but the only way for me is making sales. Nobody in their right can not enter the property with a finance degree. If you want to do or Real Estate Corporate Real Estate, you one moves from lower sales. Because that's where you get 99% of your business. I've hired for the 2 banks and was Regional Director for the hiring of my state. I guess I rent? People with degrees in real estate or finance. I hired these towers that will work for you to sell Cologne in the parking lot. It was 20 times more than any other property or finance degree not you receive. If you want to be an accountant is an accountant if you want to be in the mortgage / real estate industry credentials are best sellers. And you'd better be good at sales.
