First Time Home-buyer on the market today (?)?
Hello. I am interested in buying a condominium that either in Northern Virginia or Williamsburg, VA area. I am looking for the condo and it looks like it will be about $ 200,000 approximately. I asked myself some Small things. 1.) I do not know what to expect to pay an advance in today's economy. 2.) Should I wait to buy in January a condominium, or next spring – summer. (In these economic conditions is imported?) 3.) Any difference in a plane end condo? (In terms of an upfront payment and fees) I think that housing will continue to go down, possibly out of the operation would be my best option. But How long should I wait a minimum down payment on a $ 200,000 condominium.
1) The payments vary, but be prepared for the 10% if you need $ 20,000. 2) finally get to the colder months. You can take advantage of lower demand in winter. Even in a down cycle, people will buy in the warmer months. Some people just do not want to move when it is cold and parents often wait until their children finish the school year. 3) Buying a house is a puzzle excluded. Sold as is. You can (and should) still have an inspection, but the bank does not solve everything for such inspection. It may take weeks or months for new owner to respond to their offer. I will not say if you love the house becomes the property of the bank, but I definitely see all properties in their price range, not just seizures.
