As the real estate market in Naples?

My husband and I are from Toronto and are interested in buying a village house in Naples as a holiday with family and rental property. The town house is new and is sold by the manufacturer. How the real estate market in Naples? Is it less affected by the problems of subprime? Property values have declined in both Naples and other cities in Florida?

I understand that most Florida has been beaten so hard on these difficult housing markets. It is better call a realtor in this area and ask questions.
