Do I have to pay rent for 30 days I had to leave?
Is there normally 30 days to close a house? I ask because the house I rented (In KY) was sold and the owners told me when he went to sell must give me 30 days to move. Now that the house is sold, the realtor told me I have to pay rent to the new owner for 30 days. I'm kidding? I have not had a lease and I was within 15 days.
Closing the sale of the house has nothing to do with the rent. Yes, you owe money for rent. Try to negotiate through a month. You live for 15 days.
