real estate handbook
My main sounds stupid. Help?

My ancestors were of German origin and real estate. Unfortunately, since my university only offers required courses every two years, I had to pass to graduate on time. I have the intention of graduating 2011. It is so late in the game I found three major companies could satisfy the needs in this period: History (BA or BS), Sociology (BA or BS) and Mass Communication (BA). I have no fear of speaking to large groups people, and seemed the most appropriate key for companies. But I been watching the student handbook, and I'm not happy. It is, in fact, "the media: information specialist expertise. "Not only the ridiculous name, is for people who want to work with chambers of commerce or government agencies – I do not. But I fear that neither sociology nor history price is right, help me get into the business school. Insights? Ideas? Suggestions?

A bachelor's degree in history, sociology, German or real estate pays almost nothing anyway. There are 500,000 unemployed real estate professionals in the United States in front of you for the work. Mass communication is not that hot but at least take a chance on something and it is likely that the best option to enter an MBA program. Before the beginning of 20th century, a college degree is not to train a person for a job. A college education was a personal enrichment. To become a person educated with experience that allows critical thinking to make a career in government, the clergy or a society where you learn on the job. There was no intention of a degree training for a specific career. However, since the 1940s, the expectation of the public about a college degree has changed and a college or university now expected to take him to a career. Unfortunately, college and university system has not changed over time. Degree in anthropology, archeology, art, much of the history of art writing creative studies, general, history, humanities, liberal arts, literature, political science, all languages including English, history, music, philosophy and sociology is regarded as a personal enrichment "grade. In other words, these degrees are degrees are intended to enrich themselves personally in the classic sense of a college education without achieving any specific job. However, in today's world where people going to college to be allowed to get a job and hopefully a Master's degree in these areas is essentially useless. With a degree in these areas and GPA above 3.0, you can: 1. Enter the law school. But today, graduates of law schools beyond the lawyers do not are lawyers. 2. Get into graduate studies in a different domain. Hopefully that one without too many preconditions that do not. Consider getting a Masters in Management Technology. You can make a similar salary to be an engineer, but virtually no science prerequisite. 3. Get into graduate studies in the same area and possibly a PhD for you to become a university professor in this field one day. However, there are many more doctors in some areas as the philosophy that there will never be a teacher or other curriculum. 4. Get a teaching degree, which is usually two years, if you can teach the discipline of public school K-12. 5. Find a job in an area where we want you to have a degree without worrying about it. Where do they want the degree because they want to educate people who have shown that can stay with something difficult and see it end. As the insurance industry. 6. If you join the army are more likely to enroll as an officer in place military ranks. Note that if you go for a more advanced stage, nobody cares where you got your college degree. Only the school where graduation more advanced figures. And that counts for much less than the school's name would have you believe. If your GPA is above 3.0, does not have a second undergraduate degree if you already have one of these grades. A bachelor's degree will be more useful to you.
