If I moved to Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR?
My husband and I are looking to move to the west coast over the next two years. Currently living on the east coast, near Washington DC. I know that the labor market is not the case, almost comparable to the coast West, but he wondered what people thought Vancouver, WA, and Portland, OR. What do you like most? Can you give me some suggestions on different areas of the region? We are thinking of buying a property for rent now does – it would be easy to do in these two areas? The reason you want to move West Coast to live in an area that is slow and relaxed. Everything in the DC is fast and we just want a change in the environment. We live in a neighborhood "Position. I lived in the Vancouver / Portland for 25 of the last 35 years. Buy in Vancouver. Portland is cooler and more to do, but there are several major advantages in Vancouver. Washington has imposed on property. Vancouver is cheaper to buy a house. You can always drive to Oregon to buy big purchases, like a TV or something (without tax). Washington is much more healthy (financially) from Oregon, so they have more money for schools, etc. A good place to buy Vancouver, Hazel Dell (zip code 98665) or Felida, but there are many beautiful places in Vancouver. I would avoid Kaufman and orchards. Global Vancouver is full people like you and your spouse: families who want a good neighborhood with easy access to the big city 10 miles. Vancouver meets your type. It is, and usability home. Good luck.
