vague question – there are good and bad in all the markets that you mentioned. That said, one might think, with the auto industry in times of crisis, the Detroit market is not so – but this assumes that you sell. On the other hand, if you buy, the offer may be better to Detroit. But even in those areas in which cities the properties of "move" faster than other areas. As I said, it depends on your situation.
