X-ray technician (high-tech X-ray), the requirements for high school?
X-ray technician (X-ray high technology) requirements for school? The thing is I did not take biology, chemistry or physics in high school, I took the easy way of thinking that I become a real estate agent and took earth science. Do I still take the course? I could go back and take more science, because I am sufficiently young to be second class. Is it necessary? and if that science should take (most importantly) Chem, Bio, or PHY?
To be a technician X-ray (the word for x-ray technology), you will need a few first college prerequisite. Your best bet is to find a school near RT you, "Are you from the application and find out the prerequisite. courses. You can talk to your school counselor to determine at school could be prepared for these courses in college. After graduating from high school, I attended my local community college for a year and a half to complete my prerequisites, then went to a RT program. That many schools in many states where you can get trained to be a radiology technician. You can attend a hospital based program (and obtain a certificate), a program for 2 years at college (AS level) and even a 4 years in college (undergraduate). The programs of hospitals are less expensive, and honestly, I think the education received is higher. Once you pass and take the registration exam, no future employer care what kind of educational program happened. All they care about is making your license. You can find an RT program accredited there. JUST SEARCH "radiography" of the state and its links are provided … that will give you additional information about each program (cost, duration of the program prerequisites, contact person): http://www.jrcert.org/cert/Search.jsp
