Do I need a Real Estate License in Amsterdam,The Netherlands?

I am a Realtor for 15 years in California USA, I am moving to Amsterdam this year and have a Real Estate job waiting for me in Amsterdam. What type of license will I need to conduct real estate rentals? Where do I go to get the license if needed? Any info is appreciated

Since about ten years Realtors dont need to be registered anymore in the Netherlands.
However It would be wise to join an realtor organisation, as being purely independant makes people suspicious. The main organistations (as per below) have certain quality requirements. If you join them people are not likely to be afraid that you doing dodgy business.

You say that you have a job waiting for you there, its is basically up to the firm to join the realtor organisation. If you are working for that firm, you dont need to join them yourself. (you could in the future to get certain Dutch certs etc)
