How to Obtain First Accounting Entry Level Job or Internship?
Hey Everyone!
Due to the market climate I looking to use my MBA in Accountancy to make a Career Switch into Public Accounting. I will be CPA eligible by July 2010. My prior work experience is in Real Estate. However, I have done accounts payable, construction accounting and financial analysis.
My career goal is to work for a small to mid size CPA firm in the Chicago area. I would even consider a sole practitioner’s office if I can get good experience and a shot at a full-time position.
I need advice as to how I can obtain an internship (volunteer or paid) or an entry level position? I am graduating by May of 2010.
Any help or networking / leads are appreciated! Thanks!
Sincerely,
AJ
