Wells Fargo Foreclosure?

My mortgage on the house (in California) is owned by Wells Fargo. I was behind in my monthly payments and tried to modify my loan. Some time later I received a letter that my house was already done and fools! I 5 days to find a public defender (in all weekend) and, fortunately, I already had one. My lawyer found out that my house was sold very cheap and also discovered that the buyer was none other than Wells Fargo! I received an eviction notice, but presented a letter from my lawyer and remain today. My lawyer said he expects Wells Fargo to meet demand, but are silent. Someone else in this situation? I'll fight this' til my last breath!
