Condo / Home Insurance – how could we even begin to go around?
I have not bought a place yet (in the Boston area), but I hope to do well this year or next year. How do I start looking for property insurance? Should I be aware of local hazards (such as occasional floods?) Or I can talk to free consultants to help with property insurance? Is there a model here on the interwebs that I can see see ordinary things covered by property insurance? The main reason I ask is because I played with mortgage calculators and put $ 1,000 per year for property insurance and the truth is they have no way to estimate the price at the time, except for conducting random. Thank you,
Random proposal could be correct at this time, but I would like to visit an insurance company in person and talk about what the coverage is better in my situation before purchasing a policy. Prime Instead, talk to you already have car insurance or I had with renters insurance. My brother homeowners insurance through AAA (the people who help you if your car does not work or get an apartment), I have insurance through State Farm, there are dozens and dozens of businesses well. You can see the magazine Consumer Reports to find out what others think of different comapnies.
