pre foreclosure papers

MLS screen suddenly went out (without transition to the option period, or deed) … What's up?

I made an offer on a performance Mortgage HAR.COM yesterday was listed as active. >> Make an Offer $ 1,000 in the sale price "and pre-approved (IE provide all the paperwork was not .. low ball offers). However, today I checked and HAR.COM property was gone. And, no … I have not had an offer accepted / rejected letter. More HCAD.org (evaluation district) always has the title on behalf of the bank! All other property I saw on this site (which is directly linked to the CIS database) is sold in state and can be found by searching the full address of the house. ————– —— Any idea what happened and / or is there a crime may be at hand and such I should have a real estate lawyer? BTW, the agent of the sellers say it is my offer. Side question should I have my agent that has been too slow and get one back to the house next door? I had my papers ready for a week sent my agent and ready for shipment.

This happens all the time, and there is no "trap" in question. Someone earn the job with an offer that was accepted by the lender to sell. Properties are not state property that there is a genuine offer accepted. The lender may well have made a decision on any offer, even before writing an offer. You simply had not faster than the man who had accepted supply. The property may be higher in the MLS, because the lender does not want further action from the listing broker. Simple as that. And, of course, the house is still in the name of the bank. That will not change until the closing has taken place, and the closure could be a month from now.
