Investment in real estate?

I am interested to know what source of legitimate foreclosure and pre-foreclosure reposessions properties mortgaged land and houses. I know that banks, credit bureaus and law firms are a good source, but there the online sources that offer no real information that does not cost an unrealistic amount? I could get a foreclosure through the office of a lawyer once, but was the only one who knew but I know there's much more than that. Most of these properties go unnoticed because people now say that investment is not a reality for sure. Thank you. Im from Delaware, but I am stationed in Charleston, SC. I a lock on the way home that I rent to pay tuition for college, and certainly a good investment. Mortgage interest rate is fixed, paying just under 700 per month, but rent two rooms for 750 each. A lot of money on this, especially that property tax is low and the tenants pay all utilities.

You could use realtor.com and see if this list if the properties are bank or investor-owned (REO) properties and I think if you search Google, which most likely could find something there.
