Will my mortgage be cheaper now that the national resumed Cheshire?
I arranged my mortgage with GMAC and was then transferred to the financial assistance Emex Home is a division of Cheshire. I received a letter saying Emex that my interest rate from January reduced to 5.99% (I am now SVR). It seems that it is much higher than the variable Nationwide rates currently at 4.69% and doesn't seem very fair. I sent an email to Cheshire, but never got a response. Has anyone got concise any info please?
In the call, going to see is the best bet. However, the paper you have been exchanged. When these mergers and acquisitions occur. . . customers are sold / purchased in the transaction. Once a person is out of the front line of credit mortgage risk sub-prime rates are higher. However, I would not have too much stress that anything (really) less than 10% is a mortgage a good home for most people. While the payments are made and life happens. One thing that will help the journey is to make weekly payments vs. monthly payments. The interest you pay over the long term will be significantly reduced (thousands actually)
