Where are mortgage rates headed for Spring 2008?

Any professional opinions? Will they rise further as they have in the past month or reverse the trend?

Traditionally, in the past that the housing market decline, the interest rate decreases and stimulate buyers to buy more. However, much is in the air. Interest rates are already to mean very low, and inflation will start climbing, the credit crisis hurt banking. A map of the Fed can play down inflation is to increase interest rates. If I had to bet on things – I'd say we'll see another year or two of lower rates before the Fed starts to try to correct for inflation of rising interest rates that will eventually lead higher mortgage rates.
