What are the risks of transfer Mortgat?

My mother has a friend who is facing a situation she is unable to pay its Mortgat it is about 4 months late and she has no job. It's a very nice, beautiful gated community with 24 hours of Security guard. I would assume the mortgage. This does not bother me for months to pay it lags behind But what other risks I face? Thank you. I want the place to be to me without having to go through the buying / selling market.

You have to think this as an investment, not "help" someone in need. If I pay mortgage to another person, I wish interest in equity on the title. Here, I want to be on title as joint tenants with right of survivorship. That way if they try to sell the house, they would need my approval. I would also like to see the current rating (to see if it fits / balloons). Insist that you will not be placed on another mortgage for them, but you want to be on the title. If they want you out of trouble without any equitable interest, you could record a deed on the house in the amount Your gift + interest … or something like that. But this tactic means that you have not been paid if the house drops in value and they sell. This could be a good investment for you. A house is generally worth more than 4 LOT mortgage payments, and you're in the driver's seat of negotiation. Best of luck!
