First time home buyer money for a loan or credit?
I bought my house in 2008 Maryland. Tax season has taken during the first quarter of Credit to the buyer, which was $ 7,500 at that time. I hear there was a credit but a loan. I lost my job a few months after buying the house and worked with my mortgage company, from time to time, while drawing unemployment benefits. I'll do a short sale or foreclosure right now with this economy. What I know is that I must give this money when the file in 2009 or 2010 taxes? I can go out and expect to get a job soon to be able to pay my mortgage or simply stroll around and not paying so you can save for an apartment and move?
Many variables. You may have to speak with a tax advisor for the stage. Continue to work with your lender to keep the house, I would not do a short sale, Most lenders take too much time and no time to lose. Go in search of work, no matter how insignificant. You may call your lender forbearance with you, or loan modification for a period of time. My best advice is to concentrate on research work to save the house. You have more to lose by losing home over the long term. Maybe take in a lodger to help Sell what you can make the payments. Eat at Mom …
