If my husband is in the deed to the house, but the mortgage completely in my name, I can do a short sale with him?
I can not home and I moved because I have problems with us. But I want to do a short sale or deed in lieu of foreclosure, but the deed to the house told me. What do I do now.
If your name appears in writing, whatever you do, you must accept it. You may not sell the house below it, just off the mortgage without your permission.
