Mortgage doubled due to house taxes that was escrowed in my mortgage. is there anything i can do to change.?

I live in Florida, Last year I was not able to pay my taxes to the county directly (about $6,000) The county notified my Mortgage company and they paid it for me, but they escrow it into my mortgage. My mortgage moved from $1,300 to $2,100 per month. ( Last year taxes plus the one for this year) I cannot afford this new mortgage, I have tried to work with the mortgage company with this and I was not able to get a resolution. Is there anything I can do to work this out. My credit is not very good is there anywhere that I may be able to get a personal loan to pay out the taxes for both year and then go back to the regular mortgage. Or is there any other options?
