after foreclosure of home does new owner have to give previous owner time to vacate?
Missouri law gives lender 21 days to notify that property being foreclosed and date and time. This doens’t give time to find another place to live and want to know any legal information that gives me previous owner to vacate once sale complete
The foreclosed person needs to be gone by the time the papers change hands.
The person now paying for the home has NO obligation to let the previous owner stay and normally will have the sheriff evict if they are still there.
How many times have you paid for housing while some stranger continues to live there ?
