First Time Home Buyers?

My husband and I are ready to buy our first home. I just want to ensure that no advantage or screwed in the process. A tip about this? We are very concerned about the loan process B / C is in the Air Force and we get a loan VA at a low fixed rate. Any general tips on finding the perfect home? We have seen many HUD foreclosure homes are hard to enter? When I think of HUD assisted living, but we find the former owners, only FHA loans and property and homes were HUD. Tips and advice on all is appreciated! Thank you!

I bought 2 houses from HUD and they were very good. I had to spend a little more than I expected. Later, I realized that I paid almost exactly as I had paid for a nice house in the same neighborhood. I think would buy the house Nice If I had to do it again. The repair cost me $ 7000 and that was all cash. It is long after you used the money for closing costs. I am a veteran, but I never used my VA loan privileges. VA Loans are more expensive than other loans. This does not mean they are bad. Its only redeeming feature is that you do no money down. That's fine if you have no money. If you have money, the other much lower cost loans. But do not worry about the loans. I think they have the right attitude. Many people miss all the fun of hunting to the house because they are "Concerned" about making a mistake. You will make many mistakes. That is guaranteed. But most people wish they could have enjoyed the process. I hope he can. The world is yours.
