Home repair grants in Texas?
Does anyone know of a grant program in Texas to pay for repairs home? I have a neighbor who lives on SSI and can not possibly any type of loan. It is also very young 10 years to get a reverse mortgage. I do not think the qualifying home, either – the roof leaks and the foundation is cracked. She also has many other work. I have reviewed all the sites I can think of, including HUD, which has loan programs and rural landowners. Has anyone other Ideas? This lady really need help!
Yes, you can get help. I tried the same thing but are not eligible. State aid to those who have low income, disabled and elderly. See also with the city and county. can also provide assistance.
