house mortgage valuations

house mortgage valuations
me and my wife have been seperated now for 14 months, married for 7 years, she had house before we met, what p?

im wondering what my percentage would be in the seetlement, i had my own house and sold it to move in with her, putting the $20,000 from the sale of my house into a joint acc on the house, we went and took a joint loan out for her house mortgage which was about $125,000 so the repayments where coming out of my pay for the 7 years we married, valuation on house now is around $400,000 and mortgage is $130,000, because we put a pool, deck, tiles, etc and other upgrades to the property, we have a 6 yr old which we have 50/50 share care arrangent, and i also pay child support, she is saying im entitled to nothing to do with the house because she had it before we got married, is this correct..

If your name was not added to the deed, it could be a bit tricky. Since you sold your house and can likely show that the proceeds from that sale were deposited in a jointly held account, a judge will likely agree that “her” house became a joint possession by default.

Good luck and remember that the 6 year old must never be a part of your disagreement, or ANY disagreement between the two of you.
