Tuch iPod? The problem of dynamic keyword insertion
We've all been there before. I'm writing "iPod Touch" in a search engine, but accidentally type "iPod Tuch." I understand that my mistake once I see the popular question, "did you mean to iPod Touch? "encourages me to find the correct terms. However, many properties that pull up are relevant, therefore not repeat the search with the correct spelling. Then I see the paid search advertising on the side with the search query I can not improperly inserted in help feeling annoyed
PPC ads as I have described to implement what is known as a technique or dynamic insertion DKI keywords. These ads will automatically insert the keyword search in a paid advertisement. This form is popular because, if used correctly, can produce results very specific to generate quality traffic.
However, the use of DKI in PPC ads can cause discomfort, as in my state, distrust and even generic ad content low. I will outline some of the advantages and disadvantages of using dynamic keyword insertion in your paid search ads. So you can see for yourself if this method is good for you!
PRO: Custom advertising
Sometimes DKI can significantly increase your traffic. For example, in search of foreclosed homes in Provo, UT I came across this page specified destination. It seems this page is exactly what someone would be with your research.
CON: inconsistency
However, with the same site, I found I could write anything in the name of a City in Utah, where I was seized. The result? You get the picture. Clearly, There is no place called Crappy, UT. With DKI, allowing any investigation of any term to be included in your ad or landing page, it runs the risk of be inconsistent and voluntarily as spam the public eye.
CON: Misspelled generic real
When you create an ad PPC, DKI, the text is deliberately vague, so that several terms can be inserted without changing the meaning of the call. The problem with that is that ad. Even if the notice includes the specific word that was searched, it is unlikely that strong content wise enough to establish a quality of clicks.
All-in-all, pay-per-click ads using DKI seems useless and may even resemble with spam. If you choose to use this technique in the paid advertisement, do so carefully and choose keywords that respond only to ads and are relevant to the service or product you're advertising.
