
Is it legal to MN for a real estate agent to advise a client or a friend to rent a little house to be foreclosed?
Not long ago I rented a house and I learned at least one month after my house was in foreclosure. He hired me with the full knowledge that was 8 months. behind in payments and would receive a notice of the sale next commissioner. He had a lease drawn up by a friend who is a realtor and I realized that all our email communications has been cc'da agent. Two weeks after my arrival at the sheriff came to the door and I noticed was selling sheriff. Long story short I was forced by the intensity of the situation to pass in a few months and I lost my deposit. I think it would serve nothing to further my landlord for the deposit because even if the decision was in my favor that I am quite positive he would find a way not to pay. I wondered if it was legal officer to advise his friend / client to rent a house that was so close to the Foreclosure and if I could continue the agent instead. I live in MN. Thank you!
