How long before you get a reply on buying a bank owned home?

We sold our home and it is in escrow. We have excellent credit (high 700 to low 800's) and with prior approval of our lender (Ditech). We found a house in foreclosure (no bidding) and put in an offer above the asking price. We are 20% and did not unexpected. The house is owned banks across the country. So far, it has been a week. There are a range other than ours and we are waiting to be asked by our high bids and final. We emphasize that we have not heard the other officer banks, "we expect to make a decision today." Which still operates in the following day. Does anyone know how long it lasts Countrywide usually is this? Again, this is not an auction and not a Shortsale. This bank owned property to a value of several of your questions. Please cite the experience references are not opinion.

I been a real estate agent and broker for over thirty years. The bank used homes are always a little frustrating because you never know how long it will take a decision or what the decision will be. The agreement is that bank employees who take the decision did not own home and have really little reason to care if the house every time it sells. They are concerned that the Company has established the following rules. To keep their jobs they must follow the rules, but do not need to contact the estate agents or their clients. I recently had property seized by another bank I helped someone to write a tender in May Who does not close until late August, when everything was ready (including job title) in June The bank employees only there were other things more important time for them. This is very common, but nobody can say How long it takes, because it is at all times to employees. The officer always "hope to make a decision today," but this does not mean he is likely to do so.
