I am going to begin selling real estate and was looking for some free sites with advice, expert opinions, newsletters, etc. What are some that have been really useful to you.
I have been in residential sales and it sounds like you are going at this all wrong.
What has helped me more than anything else is local experts. Find a good local Broker that does great training. Maybe find a great local agent and work for them as an assistant for six months to a year.
A book or anything else that is published on paper or over the internet is out of date right away. You want to see how someone works day to day. How they deal with real problems. How they find buyer’s and seller’s in your local market.
Of course you will join the local board of realtors and state board and national board. They publish great magazines and newsletters and will be as much help as any printed word can be.
