Citibank 6 months rent free to the action plan?
I see Yahoo news that Citibank has a program in place now that allows owner a house thinking otherwise walk from the mortgage the opportunity to stay at home for six months rent free, if the borrower agrees to surrender the deeds to their homes without a struggle. Probably what is best for both parties, as the bank saves on the costs of foreclosure and the owner is not a lock to go in your credit file. But I think it would have important consequences for the homeowner taxes, living expenses and housing are the forgiveness of debt. Am here?
If you're right. Moreover, this is called the act in lieu of foreclosure, but it shows on your credit from foreclosure of all modes.
