What happens if I go home and close to Georgia?
Summer home of 18 + years. They divorced a few years, has primary custody 2 teenagers. Ex pay monthly child support payments, but the work was contracted out and will end next week, so no child support until finding a new job and who knows when this market will be. I am not behind on mortgage paymts yet, but soon. Increasingly difficult to maintain spending. On savings and exhausted. Countrywide will not help, because I am "in current on my payments. "He could not refi because the value of your home has dropped by $ 30,000 so I'm upside down in value. House needs repairs (Air conditioning, painting, new deck, new garage doors, etc.) I have always been responsible for the bills and feel very ill at examination foreclosure. In addition, the child will graduate next school year and we have now to consider college costs. I did my research and know my credit will be a success, but I'm tired of fighting and do not know what else to do. If someone is excluded, esp. Georgia pls share your story. Thank you.
