foreclosure vacate notice

September 2nd, 2009 by admin

foreclosure vacate notice
This is a notice of the director of sales for 30 days notice to leave a property in California?

We live in a house that is sold through a foreclosure sale of the trustee. On Friday, someone claiming to be the Bank has been presented in saying that we are living here illegally and must leave immediately. The only advice was never given notice of trustee sale, which states that nothing in it is a 30 days notice anything. I felt that once the house was actually "sold" the bank is obliged to publish a 30 days notice to vacate at the time, still do. Am I wrong? Should I panic now? Or do we still need to give us notice of 30 days?

I do not know, but the California law is the general thing (contracts, leases, agreements, communications) must be made in writing. Thus, even if the property was sold, new owners (or the bank bought the property) must give 30 days notice by writing. The person who presented it could be anyone, and not, as I said from the bench. Do not panic. Even if the house was sold in foreclosure, most states provide a period where the owner has the right of redemption. But in the meantime, you should probably start looking.
