Forelosure property in Florida, but I am a resident of California. The lender may obtain a deficiency judgment against me?
I will have a property in a crisis in Florida. I heard that in Florida the lender can get a trial of deficiency. This means they can contact me loss sales. However, I am actually a resident of California. Can they still get the statement of deficit? if so, how far they can go after of me in this case? Thanks
For the majority of all national laws, there are reciprocity agreements in which each state honor judgments obtained in other places. But this will be the responsibility of the applicant in the service of all papers in California seeking a lien on property or income you may have.
