We need some input on possibly letting our house go.?

I have a house in SC that is up for sale.I am on disability and my wife works.We had to relocate to Fla. due to
my wifes job in SC coming to a end.We still have a child in school in Florida.So currently i pay a mortgage in SC and pay
rent in Fla.Our house has been up for sale,and we have not had any luck selling it.I just missed my first mortgage payment.
I can no longer afford my house in SC.At this point ,we do not care of letting our house go to foreclosure.In order to survive in
Fla. we can no longer keep our house in SC.Can you suggest any guidance for help?

How about put your house up for rent in SC? Talk to your lender, let them know what is going on, put it in writing, they are more accommodating when you communicate with them. Why didn’t her employer pay for relocation and sell the house for you?

I would suggest you get any type of work you are able to do. I don’t know what your disability is, but exhaust all options before letting your home be foreclosed.
