Want to move and need help finding employment.?
I am 23 years old and a senior in college majoring in marketing. I lived in Jacksonville, FL all my life. I want to move and experience a new city on my own. I attend online school, so moving will not be a problem. I'm not picky on the spot, except that I want to be a big city, preferably on the coast. I currently have 5 years experience with insurance and a little experience in mortgages. I am willing to travel for interviews, etc. I just need help finding a job. I have no particular cities, I'm interested, I'm not sure how I begin my job search. I posted my resume on monster.com and careerbuilder.com already. Anyone have ideas of places with very good market work? Preferably a nice place for young single women too? " Where do I start and I can I get the benefit of business in me?
Looks like you need to hit the internet running and do a lot of research. I intend to spend Recently (the situation has changed, will not be relocating two years), and I did lots of research. First, I took the quiz suggested http://www.findyourspot.com/ to about where I should live based on a lot of different preferences. It is like a big test. I had some really great places that I would not have thought. So I searched job boards: Monster, CareerBuilder and Yahoo HotJobs. I look for items that I would be interested and to some towns I have found in the quiz FindYourSpot. Then I looked at real estate prices for places to realestate.com and rentals.com, etc. Good luck!
