Opinions: What are the effects of constant exposure to advertising?
What percentage of pages in popular magazines are ads? How many television and radio advertisements we see and hear every day? And now, consider this. For greater extent every day, we rely on tools internet and interactive media for our information. Weather, sports, news, and other information interesting or necessary for our daily lives are now accessible on Web sites, and increasing amounts of bandwidth allowed for advertising video can be found almost everywhere. Uploading Site? See an advertisement. Find a sports update? View a video ad first. Check the weather? See a dancing urge you to pay attention to advertising their offer new super-low mortgage rates. I see more and more advertisements on our intrusion each time. During a long period of time, what do you think this does?
The ads are totally prevent is not it? In fact, I can not stand to watch regular television. My husband and I watch movies and purchase of teaching Many BBC. The ads are degrading documentaries – they are meant to scare you, keep you in fear of what the neighbor you do not, you feel ugly, unworthy, always hungry, need to spend more, etc. and what you end up with decent people who are in debt to their eyelids, which feel terrible about themselves and feel they have every disease possible that pharmaceutical ads are trying to push them. Unable to think, and relate to each other personally, and fear of losing everything ..
