Are Commercial tentants responsible for property tax in NYC, even if they don’t occupy entire building?

I rent space that is very large but we don’t occupy the whole building am I required to pay part of the real estate property taxes?

It depends completely on what your lease states. Some leases stipulate that the tenant must pay a pro rata share of property taxes. Others do not and the owner pays them. You’ll have to pull out your lease agreement and check.
