How do I contact the Department of Real Estate of California; not via mail or automative response telephone?

They had made mistake on spelling my name. I need to correct this before taking the state exam and taking fingerprints. I filled out the name change form, but its asking for a license number, I don’t have one yet. I tried contacting via mail, but no response. The telephone numbers 0900 and 0931 are automative response and they are no help at all.

Your broker has access to the “real” website, he can get you the number from there.
