I am an American but have lived in Canada most of my life, but I want to buy a house in the U.S.?
The problem is that I "American" credit. This is my very good credit in Canada to obtain a mortgage, or should I start from scratch? I also heard that is super easy to get a mortgage in the States and why there are so many executions …. Is this true? It is very easy to get a mortgage. PS I'm looking California, if it makes a difference
You will not know if you talk to several lenders to see what if anything could qualify. It costs you nothing but some time. I suggest several local lenders for you to see what the different programs they offer and how to choose one that best fits your financial situation. But it can be bought anywhere in the USA! Good lucky!
