$800 Billion for 600,000 jobs. You do the math. It doesn’t make sense.?

Has it fixed the banking system? No, because banks are still failing at a record pace.
Has it fixed the foreclosure mess? No, foreclosures are still at record highs and growing. The Commercial real estate is the other shoe that is going to drop.
Has it created jobs? It depends who’s numbers you believe because even within Obama’s administration everybody has a different number and it seems like they just pull the numbers out of their butt.
Has it help the economy? No, the middle class and working class are being left out of Wall Street’s profits and bonuses and “recovery”.

You are right, the numbers do not add up. But they never have since the start of the bail out and stimulus programs. The problem is, I am afraid, that they never will. Excessive spending has not stopped, a freeze on spending is useless because the spending has already been accelerated far beyond our ability to pay.
If the administration were honest and sincere about turning this around, it would have been done months ago. They already know the formula to improve the economy, but have opted to continue doing what they know doesn’t work. There is another goal in sight.
With our banks and 2 auto manufacturers already effectively nationalized, added to the attempt to nationalize 14% more of the economy with health care, is there any doubt what the administration wants? The whole exercise had nothing to do with fixing anything, it has to do with an avowed progressive’s dream of power over a people.
